Master this exercise before you do a single leg bench squat.
- Take an exaggerated step forward.
- Place hands behind head or to the side.
- Keep chest and head up, shoulders over hips.
- Maintain this position as you lower hips to floor.
- Do not lean forward.

Lower the hips to the floor.
- Keep front knee over ankle.
- Back knee should touch floor.
- You will feel a stretch in the back leg hip flexor.
- Feet should maintain contact with the floor at all times.
