Push up on knees

This is a way to build up to the ability to do a push-up

  • Start with hands slightly wider than and in front of shoulders.
  • Back should be flat and shoulders and hips in line.
  • Feet off the floor and knee angle between 45 and 90 degrees. You can cross at ankles.
  • Draw in belly button and lower chest and hips together towards floor.
  • Maintain neutral head position with ears in line with shoulders.
  • Maintain knee angle.
  • Lower upper body so elbows are in line with upper back.
  • Extend arms, repeat.
