Stability Ball Push Up on Knees
 |
This is another variation of a push up with your hands on an unstable surface. This builds upper body strength as well as shoulder and core stabilization.
- Extend arms and place hands on the side of the SB, near top of ball.
- Back should be fairly straight.
|
 |
- Draw in belly button towards spine.
- Slowly lower chest and hips toward SB.
- Make sure that the SB does not move.
- Bring chest to the SB.
- Elbows should be in line with upper back.
- If you cannot stabilize the SB, then do not do the exercise.
- Once you master this exercise move on to SB push up on toes.
